     Space has always been and will arguably always be an interesting topic. There is still so much to be learned about space. Here in the U.S we have the biggest space program in the world in NASA. We also have Space X which is a private spaceflight company owned by Elon Musk. But for me one space and art project  that caught my attention was The Cultural Center of European Space Technologies (KSEVT). This place is “More than just a building, which in itself is a gigantic work of conceptual art.        Art has been created for thousands of years . But over time certain artworks have decayed  due to environmental change and other things. Nanotechnology is the use  of matter on a near-atomic scale to produce new materials and devices. This technology has significant potential in all sorts of fields  such as medicine, art, energy,  and manufacturing. To put into perspective just how small nanotechnology really is ,there are 25,400,000 nanometers in an inch.  One area where nanotechnology  and art have been doing great work is in art conservation.        Neuroscience and art is a very interesting topic. The potential future in this field is immense. An example of this I found to be quite intriguing was the brain chip the company Neuralink is developing. Neuralink was first founded in 2016 by billionaire Elon Musk. The aim of Neuralink is to implant a wireless brain computer interface that includes thousands of electrodes. This could cure neurological diseases like dementia, Alzhiemiers, or spinal injuries. The brain chip would allow people to control computers or video games with their mind. Another thing the chip could potentially do is access memories and download them onto computers for future access.  FDA standards for a product like this are extremely high as this is a delicate issue.        The event I chose to attend was hosted by Jessica Irish. During her presentation she shows and talks about her short documentary film The Moral Plastik.  It's a film talking about one of the biggest active crises , the plastic crisis. When the documentary began my initial reactions were on how sophisticated everything was. The world play and knowledge being thrown help elevate the quality of the film.      To really touch the audience the main approach Ms Irish uses  in her documentary is an emotional one. She does include some statistics to back up her claim but she mainly focuses on using pathos. She talks about her daughter, mother and grandmother and how this problem has potentially affected their lives.  She talks about the lives of the animals and explains how sad it is that their lives are being taken away from these plastics. She also mentions how new industry plants are taking over pieces of land that many consider ...

    In   BioTech + Art  we have a a big controversial issue in GMO's.  The pros of Genetically modified organisms are that they deliver more nutritious food , use less pesticide,  have faster growing crops, and  cost less which  increases the supply. Some of the cons are that GMO's can cause allergic reactions and may increase antibiotic resistance. The biggest issue with GMO's is the unknown as the research scientists have so far is limited, meaning that in the future we could be in for a surprise.  Personally I am pro GMO as I feel the good  it does for the world outweighs any  potential damage it could cause  in the future.       One thing  that interested me was some of the hybrid crops  available today.
